Ceramic Veneers

Subtitle

Transform your smile with Ceramic Veneers - all in just two appointments.

Can you imagine changing the size, colour, shape and even the position of your teeth with minimal or no wear?

Dental veneers are an aesthetic treatment that allows you to create a whiter, more harmonious and visually more balanced smile.

Through digital planning, we simulate your new smile before starting any procedure. This way, you can take a real “test drive” of the final result, visualise the differences and decide with total confidence.

The treatment plan always begins by understanding each patient's expectations and objectives. We then carry out full documentation of the case, including photographs, x-rays and scans. We then move on to digital planning so that the patient can get an idea of how their dental veneers will look, even before they are made.

On the basis of this study, we present all the necessary information: values, expected duration and possible treatment alternatives.

With the latest adhesive ceramic restoration techniques, many cases can be carried out without any tooth wear or with extremely conservative preparations of between 0.2 and 0.5 mm.

The degree of preparation depends essentially on three factors:

Colour

  • The difference between the tooth's current colour and the desired colour. When the change is minimal, very thin veneers can be used.

Volume

  • The ratio between the volume of the current teeth and the desired volume.
  • If the new smile requires slightly larger teeth, there's no need to wear them down.
  • When the final volume must be the same as the initial volume, minimal preparation is required.

Position

  • In some cases, small discrepancies in position can be corrected with ceramic veneers. If the teeth are already well positioned, wear may be non-existent.

Ceramic veneers are not fragile. Although they are extremely thin pieces - often only 0.2 mm - become highly resistant once adhered to the enamel, as long as all the clinical and adhesive steps are carried out correctly. With modern advances in adhesion, veneers can have a durability of between 15 and 30 years.

The number of veneers required depends on the width of the smile. 6 and 10 facets.

Another important advantage is that ceramic veneers do not change colour over time, guaranteeing a stable and permanent aesthetic result.
